Fort Island Gulf Beach | Family Session | Crystal River

FILED IN: Uncategorized

It’s always so fun when I have the opportunity to photograph someone I went to high school with! I haven’t seen Hillary since we graduated, but she is still just as fun and vibrant as ever 😊 Only now, she is a police wife to Brett and mother to two beautiful girls! 💕 Addilyn is almost two, and at first wanted nothing to do with the beach! Poor little thing would cry anytime her feet touched the sand haha, but with some encouragement from dad she was laughing and playing on the shoreline by the end of the evening. Baby Ayla, was so sweet and just as happy as can be, for being 2 months old! And it was obvious just how much Addilyn already loved and cared for her little sister.

We started out on the long board walk leading to the pier. I loved the way the bright green of tropical palm trees contrast against weathered wood and the railing provided lots of extra seating that tends to come in handy when photographing littles 😉 As we exited the thick vegetation and entered the pier, the sun was beginning to set. One of my favorite pictures of the evening was captured there, with a burst of sun peaking behind Bretts hat while he cradled little Ayla closely in his arms. So sweet!!!  We then finished off the evening on a little secluded part of the beach. By this time the kids were pretty over taking pictures, but we managed to capture some really sweet moments while the sun dipped down behind the horizon. ❤

Brett and Hillary, your family is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for entrusting me to capture just how little and sweet they are at this time in your lives… it was truly my pleasure! 😊
