Six years ago, while they were still just friends, she found a to do list in his truck and put “take Katie Horton out on date” onto his list of tasks. They hit it off right away and have been together ever since… and if you spend any amount of time with these two it’s easy to see why. You can see it in the way they wrap up in each others arms or just how their eyes crinkle in happiness when the look at each other. If you think they’re cute in photos you should try being near them in person 😭💕
As if they couldn’t get any more perfect… they both share a love of the outdoors and often go hunting and fishing together! They’ve walked through the woods at Goethe State Forest many times and have acquired a few “special” spots over the years. First was an old railroad tie bridge hidden among thick foliage. Then we drove to a dreamy woodland of longleaf pines where, years ago, Katie and Wes carved their initials. And could we really finish without pulling over and taking some cuddly photos in the back of Wes’s old pickup? 😍 So in love with everything about these two and these gorgeous woods.
Katie and Wes, I had so much fun getting to know you! Thanks for sharing your secret spots with me and trusting me with such special memories! I can’t wait until your wedding day! ❤️
