Florida Wildflower Engagement Session | Homosassa

FILED IN: Engagement

Forget about high school sweethearts… Lane + Britney have known each other since elementary school!!! 💕 Lane was actually Britney’s first boyfriend and they dated all until middle school when they eventually went their separate ways. Years later after they both had graduated high school, Lane began working for Britney’s mother, and the two rekindled their age old flame. They have been together over 2 years now and love spending time with family, Saturday night’s at the race track and most of all…they love going out fishing!!! Lane actually proposed one early morning while out on the boat. Britney started fishing right away and a couple of minutes later, when she realized that Lane was just sitting there, asked why he hadn’t cast out his line yet. He replied by getting down on one knee and asking her to spend forever with him. 😭💕

It is only fitting that such a rustic, easy-going couple have their engagement session in the middle of the woods. We started out in a large open field with tall feathery grass and large deciduous trees- still holding onto their leaves. The slightest feeling of Fall filled the air and one of my favorite wildflowers- Golden Rod was in full bloom! We traveled a little further down the trail to a forrest of tall slender pines and lush green grass. We finished off the evening in the wildflowers and just a few more photos by the trees.

Lane + Britney, the evening light was divine and I had so much fun exploring some of Florida’s beautiful landscapes with you! I’m so thankful that our paths crossed and am so excited for your wedding day later this February! Can’t wait to capture more beautiful memories 💕
