Underneath big white letters that formed the word “SOUTHERN” on the side or a red colored railway car… they stood together holding hands. Husband and wife. Could there be a more perfect depiction of their newly wedded bliss?
The same two country kids who started dating in grade school, just minutes before, stood in front of friends and family to exchange handwritten vows and promise forever to each other. The love and joy from that moment was still written all over their faces as the sun began to set and we wandered all around the historic train depot capturing some of their first moments as husband and wife. An abandoned railway car, country sidewalks and the most beautiful magnolia tree made for some iconic southern portraits!
The reception was actual held inside of the old train station! Britney and her mother decorated the space entirely by themselves… and I was so impressed with the amount of time and attention to detail they put into it all! The ivory flowers and natural greenery complimented the all-wood interior beautifully and they had the cutest sweetheart table- complete with lace drapery and a large galvanized monogram D ! My favorite moment of the evening had to of been during Lane’s mother son dance. when I looked over to Britney who had the sweetest; most adoring look on her face. 💕
Lane and Britney, thank you so much for trusting me with with will always be one of the most special days of your lives! In the small amount of time we’ve spent together, it has been obvious to me how perfect you are together! I wish you many years of love and happiness!
