It was a month before Christmas when Justin went to Cynthia’s daughter and asked permission for her mother’s hand in marriage. She happily agreed, of course ❤ He then went on to tell his mother who handed down his grandmother’s ring to propose with! He, his parents and Cynthia’s daughter kept the happy secret for what I’m sure seemed like a very long for weeks! Then finally, on Christmas morning after everyone had finished opening their gifts, Justin knelt down on one knee and handed Cynthia a small wrapped box. She said when she finally unwrapped it her eyes filled with tears and she quickly said yes to the man she wanted to spend forever with. Everyone laughed and explained how they had all known for weeks…and Cynthia says to this day she is amazed that her daughter who can hardly keep a secret for 5 minutes knew about the proposal for a whole month!!!
When it came time for Justin + Cynthia’s engagement session it just happened to be one of the rainiest parts of the summer. But after what felt like nearly 2 weeks of straight rain, and a couple of canceled sessions, the sun finally came out long enough for us to get some BEAUTIFUL photos celebrating their sweet love. The two seemed so at home together and I had so much fun following them around in the pretty light and big open fields. Can’t wait for their wedding day!!!
