Equine Session | Belleview, FL

FILED IN: Equine

This was such a special session for me! When Bridgette reached out to me wanting pictures done at her barn, I couldn’t have been more excited for my first session dedicated solely to photographing horses. What could be better than mixing my new passion of photography with my childhood passion?

You see, when most other little girls would have painted their rooms pink- I wanted mine to be brown. I had brown walls, a brown comforter and a room entirely decorated with horses. I thought I was pretty much the luckiest girl in the world because I was blessed enough to grow up on 5 acres with horses to call my very own! Long story short… a lot of life later and nearly a decade away from riding horses I married my “cowboy man” and moved back to my hometown. We just got me my own horse this year and it feels amazing to be back in the saddle- although I have A LOT of catching up to do. haha

So it feels that this equine session came at just the perfect time. I had so much fun getting to know Bridgette and her handsome geldings, Blue and Travis. Bridgette exudes a gentle sort of confidence that made the conversation easy and the love she has for her horses is obvious, even to someone like me, who ‘s only just met her. We walked around the pasture giving lots of time for grazing and loving on these sweet boys. It was hard to get photos of Bridgette riding just because Blue was so friendly that he kept walking up to me and standing in front of my camera wanting more attention 😩❤️

It’s hard to believe that my “office” could consist of an open pasture with giant oak trees and these majestic four-legged creatures… but boy, I’m sure thankful it does ❤️
