There is just something so romantic about a backyard wedding. No walls or fancy artificial lights, just those that matter most all gathered under a big open sky. Jimmy and Sarah were married at an absolutely gorgeous spot on the river. The lush green grass contrasted beautifully against the white folding chairs that were all lined up in rows looking towards the canal. Large beautiful trees with branches covered in low-hanging Spanish moss framed Jimmy and Sarah as they stood in front of the glistening water of the canal. There, they exchanged the sweetest hand written vows. Sarah told the story of their first date, and how after they kissed that nigh, Jimmy told her that it would be the last first kiss she would ever have (I can’t even handle how cute these two are 😭😭) and he was right… and just moments later they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. ❤️
After the ceremony the guests all gathered around white linen tables and waited for the bride and groom to officially be announced. The summer heat started to fade away as the sun sunk lower into the sky and created that beautiful glow I love so much. One of the sweetest moments of the day had to be during their first dance, when little Harper ran out from the crowd to her daddy and his new beloved wife. The three of them danced together under the shade of mossy tree branches and just looked so happy and complete. As the sun was starting to set we snuck of to a more secluded part on the river and captured some beautiful husband and wife portraits. It was the perfect end to a perfect evening!
Jimmy + Sara, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day! I feel so blessed to have met you and watch the love you share for each other and sweet little Harper. I wish you many years of love and happiness in the future 💕
